Hi there!!
Finally, in April 2023, I returned to my hometown from San Francisco.
During my time in San Francisco, USA, I had the opportunity to embark on countless new experiences and gain valuable knowledge. I’m excited to share all the details with you in my upcoming blog post! 🙂
Anyways, I was incredibly thrilled to reunite with my dog! Hahaha, and of course, I couldn’t wait to indulge in some delicious Japanese food!
Today, Im gonna share my domestic travel story with you!!
Tokyo
First of all I visited to Tokyo. Since it was GW, a major holiday in Japan, there were so many people visiting the tourist spots in Tokyo.
Sensoji Temple
This is Sensoji Temple in Asakusa.
One of the temple’s most iconic features is the Kaminarimon, or “Thunder Gate,” which stands at the entrance to the temple grounds. This massive gate, adorned with a massive red lantern and guarded by fierce-looking statues, has become a symbol of Asakusa and a popular landmark in Tokyo.
I personally like to see Sensoji Temple light up at night. Because it is not only beautiful, but also less crowded and comfortable to see the buildings. The entrance to Sensoji Temple is open 24 hours a day, so you can go sightseeing even late at night. But as I recall, the food stalls close early.
At this temple, you can not only see the beautiful buildings, but also visit the temple, eat and shop at the food stalls!

Tsukiji Market
“I LOVE FRESH OYSTER!!!!!”
Tsukiji Market, located in Tokyo, was once the largest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world. While the fish market has been relocated to Toyosu, the outer market of Tsukiji still attracts tourists with its vibrant atmosphere and delectable culinary offerings.
It’s worth noting that Tsukiji Market can get crowded, particularly during peak hours and on weekends. To fully enjoy the experience, it’s recommended to arrive early and be prepared for the lively and bustling atmosphere.
Unfortunately, I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take a picture of the market atmosphere. haha
There was also a Japanese sake tasting store!
I stopped at many other spots, but more next time!
Now that I think about it, we ate a lot.LOL
